Nature’s Glory Hulled Buckwheat is certified free of pesticides, additives, and not genetically modified.

This hardy plant has been cultivated in the Northern part of East Asia and Manchuria for the past 3000 years yielding pyramid shaped, nutty flavoured seeds.

Compared to most grains, buckwheat is extremely rich in all essential amino acids (close to egg white, fish and milk proteins), iron, phosphorous, potassium and B vitamins, making it a very nourishing and strengthening food. It also contains rutic acid which aids in arterial, circulatory ailments like high blood pressure.

Buckwheat Flour is one of the best sources of protein in the plant kingdom. Buckwheat has a unique, assertive flavor that is especially great in both quick and yeast breads. Buckwheat is also often grounded into flour as a major ingredient in traditional Japanese soba noodles or to replace cornflour.
