Hand Sanitizing Spray Lavender Dr Bronner's 2oz
Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps, the top-selling natural brand of liquid and bar soap in the United States has introduce a new USDA Certified Organic Hand Sanitizing Spray. Available in a 2 oz. bottle that provides over 500 sprays, the new personal care item is certified under the same National Organic Program that certifies food. Dr. Bronner's lavender scented hand sanitizer is also free of GMO-alcohol and petro-carbomer thickener.Other non-organic hand sanitizers are based on alcohol from GMO corn and thickened with carbomer, a petrochemical thickener. Dr. Bronner's utilizes only certified organic grain alcohol from non-GMO sources, without any synthetic thickeners. While organic lavender provides a lovely scent, organic glycerin contributes a moisturizing after-feel that isn't sticky or drying.
Dr. Bronner's is synonymous with Old-World quality and time-honored simplicity, which can be traced back to the family's German-Jewish soapmaking tradition. Born in 1908 to a Jewish family that had been making soap since 1858, Emanuel Bronner was a third generation certified master-soapmaker under the guild system of the time. In 1929, he brought his formulas for high-quality liquid and bar soaps to America, starting Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps in its current form in 1948. Ingredients: 62% Organic ethanol, water, organic glycerin, organic lavender oil. Caution: Flammable. Keep away from fire. Do not store above 40 degrees celcius. Do not spray or rub into eyes. For external use only.
Genetic Modification of crops is a process of adding genes from other species eg bacteria into plants so that they can produce more yield and be resistant to attack from pests. Insects that take GMO crops die due to the toxins that the GMO plants secrete. The safety to humans is still not conclusive and we are concerned.
Hence, Nature's Glory abides by a non GMO policy when we select our products. Hence, we shy away from products made in the USA including fresh produce unless they are tested for non GMO. (These tests may still be insufficient due to the uncontrolled spread of GMO pollen). The introduction of GMOs in Europe had caused half the bee population to go extinct and hence it was banned in Europe. GMOs are also banned in Japan, NZ and Australia. There have also been an increase in the amount of pesticide and chemicals used on crops after the introduction GMOs. The large increase in chemicals on crops has now become a global threat to our environment
