Duck Congee Recipe

Tasty and satisfying duck congee for a wholesome family meal.

Ingredients:

Duck Bones

Seasoning - organic rosemary, dill, thyme, garlic, ginger, turmeric, bay leaves, oregano, basil, cloves and pepper

Multi-rice grains

Red quinoa

Himalayan salt for seasoning

Method:

  1. Slow boil the stock for 3 hours - duck bones with organic rosemary, dill, thyme, garlic, ginger, turmeric, bay leaves, oregano, basil, cloves and pepper.
  2. Rinse the organic multi-rice grains (brown, red and black) and red quinoa and add a dash of toasted sesame oil.
  3. Drain out the soup stock. Cook the multi-grains together. Simmer in medium-low fire for another 2-3 hours.
  4. Season congee with Himalayan Salt to taste
