Organic tofu and tempeh make for a healthy plant-based alternative for good protein in your diet. For vegetarians and vegans, tofu and tempeh can be especially versatile as substitutes for eggs and meat. Tofu can often be used as a substitute for chicken, meat and even scrambled eggs, depending on what type of texture of tofu you use.
Tofu contains calcium, protein, and isoflavones which prevent heart disease, while tempeh contains Vitamin B12, all essential amino acids, calcium, high in essential fatty acids, soluble dietary fibre, isoflavones, folic acid, and low in sodium. Tempeh is made from fermented soybeans, allowing for better digestion than regular tofu. Consuming more of it can also decrease the risk of heart disease and strokes, osteoporosis, build immunity, help with weight loss, digestive disorders and improve bone health.

Tempeh
Tempeh has a nutty meat-like texture and is often used in salads and stir-fries as a great substitute for meat as well. It is low in fat and cholesterol, but high in protein and fibre. Our organic tempeh is certified organic and bio-dynamic from Australia. It is also chemical and pesticide-free, non-GMO and traditionally cultured with Rhizopus Oligosporus culture.
