Organic Hatcho Miso Nature's Glory
Miso provides the gut with good, friendly bacteria that helps us to have a healthy gut. Strong gut health is linked to good mental and physical health.
Nature’s Glory Hatcho Miso, the heartiest of all miso, is made from 100% Soybean, Koji and Sea Salt. Cooked Soybeans are formed into balls and then inoculated with Koji spores, to encourage the growth of lactobacillus. They are then fermented in wooden kegs for 36 months.
Our Hatcho Miso is purely made from whole ingredients, without preservatives, additives, enhancers and colouring, a true product of Health Excellence.
Compared with other Miso pastes, Hatcho Miso has the highest protein profile and lactic acid content. Hatcho Miso does not have any grains, like rice and wheat added, unlike other Miso pastes. It is also less sweet and has a really intense, bold flavor with good umami. Due to its rich flavor, you only need a smaller amount of Hatcho Miso when mixing it to make soup, sauce, broth, or whichever dishes you wish to enhance with a bold miso taste.
