Pinto Beans Organic Nature's Glory
Japanese grade
These kidney-shaped beans have pale whitish skin, moulted with shades of beige and pink. When cooked, they become a uniform pink colour and look most attractive and succulent.
Pinto beans are traditionally grown in Latin America and are delicious eaten cold with salads or used as a savoury filling in pancake rolls.
Nature’s Glory pinto beans are grown organically without the use of pesticides or chemicals and are GMO-free. (Eco-certified).
Preparation: Soak beans overnight and place in a pan with fresh water. Bring to boil, lower heat and simmer till soft and tender (1-1.5 hours). For pressure cooking, soak for 6 hours and cook for about 10 minutes (15lbs). Liquid remaining after cooking beans is nutritious can be used as stock to flavour your soups, stews and casseroles.
Storage: Keep in a cool dry place. Refrigerate when opened.
