Sweet corn is nutritious vegetable and is a popular side dish to a hearty meal, nearly 75 percent of the corn comprises of water. Sweet corn packed with protein, starch, dietary fiber, carbohydrates and contains useful amounts of vitamins A, B3 (which supports metabolism, the nervous and digestive systems), thiamine, and C. It also contains Folic Acid, Fiber and iron, magnesium, potassium; Zeaxanthin is the yellow-gold pigment that occurs naturally in sweet corn.
