Free radicals have been the talk of the town for several years now. As free radicals are linked to over 90% of diseases and rapid aging, drug companies, healthcare units, and research facilities have devoted considerable time and resources to combat these health hazards.
Fortunately, these highly-reactive substances (which are caused by a number of different factors including stress and pathogens) are removed by superoxide dismutes (also known as SOD), an enzyme naturally-produced by the body. Unfortunately, SOD production decreases and slows down with age.
Considering the circumstances above, researchers were prompted to devise ways to combat free radicals, thereby paving the way for the development of electrolyzed alkaline water and HiFloAM Water®.
Alkaline Water: Development
Beginning from its inception way back in 1834, electrolyzed alkaline water has been commercialized for over 50 years. Its earlier development was largely influenced by, and heavily based on, the widely-accepted electrolysis technology.
Being based on an approved medical device (as evidenced by the approval of Japan’s Ministry of Health as to its use for the treatment of gastro-intestinal disorders), electrolyzed alkaline water has gained considerable popularity both in Japan and abroad.
But the questions prevail: what is alkaline water and why is there a shift towards HiFloAM Water®?
Alkaline Water and HiFloAM Water®: A Comparison
HiFloAM Water® is the brainchild of Dr. Kokichi Hanaoka, an advocate and research pioneer of alkaline water for a period of over four decades.
Dr. Hanaoka studied the “miracle water” of France’s Lourdes, Mexico’s Tlacote and Germany’s Nordenau, and noted the following similarities among the three: 1) they have a weak alkaline pH, 2) they have high hydration ability, and 3) they have the ability to remove free radicals. Using electrolysis, he replicated the properties of these “miracle spring waters” to create the HiFloAM Water®.
Alkaline water differs considerably from HiFloAM Water®. Here are the differences between the two, as pointed out by Dr. Hanaoka:
- Unlike conventional electrolyzed alkaline water which usually has a pH level of anywhere from 9 to 11, HiFloAM Water® only has a pH of 8. This pH range is within a neutral range and is closer to the blood pH level.
- HiFloAM Water® has higher hydration ability (also known as “dissociation activity”) compared to alkaline water.
- HiFloAM Water® boasts higher levels of dissolved oxygen (O2) and hydrogen (H2). O2 is essential for cell metabolism and cell recovery, whereas H2 is effective in preventing free radical damage. In addition, O2-rich environments inhibit the growth of cancer cells.
- 30% of water is usually wasted during the production of alkaline water. However, there is no wastage in the production of HiFloAM Water® .
- HiFloAM Water® performs better in terms of making aging cells younger.
In addition to the foregoing, HiFloAM Water® is also effective in improving blood circulation, with the results evident almost immediately after drinking.
Health is a primary consideration of individuals nowadays, which explains the attention given to health products and services.
Given that water is a basic need, it is easy to understand why researchers and health professionals are finding ways to produce healthier water.
At Nature’s Glory Singapore, the HiFloAM Water® system uses water filtration technology to create alkaline water with properties similar to these "miracle" spring waters from France, Germany & Mexico -- a weak alkaline pH, high hydration ability, and the ability to remove free radicals. Compared to other alkaline water systems, our HiFloAM Water® filtration system aims to improve upon taste, higher in hydrogen and oxygen levels to help prevent free radical damage in cells and stronger antioxidant ability.
HiFloAM Water® is fully made in Japan, in a factory with Medical Standards ISO 13485 Certificate, which is considered much stricter and higher than ISO90001 quality standards, giving you peace of mind in your purchase.
